Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. The tool asks for gender, date of birth, health, tobacco use, the amount you want and how long for. Those six things generate carrier rates. Your name, street address, and medical records only come up if you choose to move forward.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These are the rates each carrier quoted for the class you picked. The carrier finalizes the premium and class after its own investigation, which may move you up, down, or confirm your class. This site contains no insurance offer or price guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

You provide your name, and the application gets built from your selected quote, then switches to the carriers' secure platform. Feel free to save your progress and return anytime. You sign your name electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, License 0B75129, a California-licensed agency, manages the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

It depends on the carrier, the coverage amount and your answers. Some carriers offer rapid decisions for certain applicants without an exam; check each quote to see if an exam is mandatory, possible, or not expected.

Is a longer term better?

Your term should cover the years when losing your paycheck would hurt your family: a home loan, kids at home, a business obligation. Longer periods cost more monthly but lock your rate longer. The tool lets you compare 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year terms side by side.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote tool gathers no contact information. We don't trade or share any visitor data, and our site traffic tool has no cookies. Review the privacy page to see the complete list of collected data and who gathers it.
